CNN latest news: rice shortage in the United States.

Hi ladies,
US people who all are Rice lovers, hurry up!! store the rice in your pantry as soon as, rice price will be go up. An our indian grocery stores got good news for them to (they close their eyes and mark the price) raise the rice price.
The two biggest U.S. warehouse sam's and walmart retail chains are limiting how much rice customers can buy because of rice shortage in the United States.Costco Wholesale has also put limits on bulk rice purchases.see the below link,

I don't think ppl should stock on rice, this is what starts the price wars that eventually leads to gouging. So don't stock up, its all about demand and supply... my two cents..

I saw the news in the newspaper that Costo and Sam`s club are
limiting the number of bags of rice per customer. I think Indian stores
got jackpot, they can rise the price because the gap in demand and supply.
I don`t know when Indian government will lift the ban on export of rice.

In Indian stores they have already hiked the prices, now this will be another chance for hiking. Two weeks ago they said there wont be rice supply anymore and they sold at higher prices. After a week there were rice bags on the shelf. I think we don't have to store.

Don't store it !! may be for 2-3 weeks you might see them on self..

but eventually it has to come to us (consumer) ;)

ITs all part of their marketing tactics is what I say... just spreading news when people are really thinking about spending too much money with all this inflation going on..
