Default Buying Fan - Any good brands ?

We are looking for a "Tower fan" for summers. Our house has a tall roof and it's waste of money to cool unwanted parts of house. With summer approaching, it takes so much longer to cool the house with AC.

I need suggestions from someone using it.
Are there good brands there ? We were about to choose LASKO. What should one look for, while buying a fan ?

Thank you

Hi,

I found great fans in Walgreens... starting from $10 on... in tower fans, I found the brand Aries to be ok... it costs $20 in Walgreens and worth the price.

Settled for a $40 LASKO 48 inch fan oscillating tower one.
It's cool...Power efficient. It s quite portable and I switch on the ac only when my husband comes home in evening. Till then this fan is pretty cool.
