Friends, Sometime this fall or winter, I am thinking of bringing my parents to the US for a trip. This is more of a sight-seeing trip than anything else. So, timing is not that critical.
Do any of you know whether it is cheaper to buy tickets in the US or in India? If I buy a India-USA-India ticket from US, are there any restrictions? Has anyone got by (or got into trouble) for buying tickets in the destination country instead of the departure country? I am wondering whether it is even worth calling travel agents in the US for buying my parent's trip tickets. Thanks in advance for helping out with your comments.
