Default Re: AIRTEL calling cards????

Airtel calling cards to india was introduced in Jan 2007, more than a year ago. We tried it then, but as the quality was not so impressive, switched back to Reliance. But recently, we again tried Airtel and its pretty good.. Often much better than Reliance. So we have permanently moved to Airtel now as the call quality is pretty good and most importantly the rates are lesser compared to Reliance..

Airtel Call Rates t India : to landline - 7 cents/min
to mobile - 6 cents/min

Reliance rates (to mobile/landline outside reliance network) - 8 cents/min

Checkout for Airtel smart calling tips and you could call home dialing just one or two keys.. No much hassle..

Website : www.airtelcallhome.com

Happy talking everyone!!

Regards,
Indu..

Hi Dweepa,

Airtel too has pinless dialing. Check out the smart calling tips in their website. You probably missed that one :)

Hi Puni,

Wonderful and a much needed thread!

We have been using reliance for many years now and extremely happy with it.

But sure we will give a try with AIRTEL...especially if there is considerable difference in the rates. We do make frequent calls to India and Middle east.

Does this AIRTEL have access for making calls to countries other than India like Reliance? How much do they charge comparatively?

Can IL'ites already using AIRTEL elaborate on this please?

Cheers
Krithika
