Hi GPriya,

About Mary Kay moisturizer - you can get it from any Mary Kay consultant. You'll find a list of them on the Mary kay website that are near your zipcode. They even come and drop off stuff at your house/office so you don't have to go anywhere.

I forgot to mention about the body moisturizer. I use Lubriderm a lot. I like it better than any other...

Hope this helps,
love,
Aarushi

PS: Thanks Padma for the yoga tip! :) I tried it just now sitting at my desk...:)

Default Eucerin Moisturizer

hi all,

after discussing with u all, i got eucerin moisturizing cream from walmart. It was in the facial care aisle, so i picked it. but when i used it for the first time, i wasn't happy enof, coz the cream was very tightly packed, as a result it was hard to apply on face. Is it the same in ur experience, or is anything wrong in my side. To be clear, if you use ponds or olay or dove, it is creamy, smooth and easy to apply, i dont find it in eucerin. Can anyone help.

Thanks

Hi Cindhuja,
Eucerin is not that good... it doesn't spread evenly.
Where are Aquaphor is good, I have been using that for 7yrs for my kids now.

Regards.

Hi Cinduja:

Yes, Eucerin is quite thick and not one of the easiest creams to apply. I used it for my son for almost 5 years and now having come to the UK, found out about Bodyshop products. Their Cocoabutter and Sheabutter body cream and lotion are very good. However, if you have very dry skin, you would want to try Hemp cream. They have separate creams for body and the face. I don't how they are priced in the US but they are on the expensive side here.

If you can find Glycerine, it is a very good moisturiser when used alongwith olive and almond oil and rosewater in equal amounts.

Hope this helps.

Sindhu

I have been using St.Ives,I find that good. But recently got a sample tube of Aveeno Skin Relief moisturising cream.I find that extremely good.Once all my existing creams get over,I am planning to buy Aveeno. For my son's skin rashes, doctor prescribed Eucerin moisturising creme. After one week of application,I do find a lot of improvement in his skin condition only thing it is very oily.

If the cream is too thick, then you can try adding a few drops of water to it before applying on your face...It will make the cream thinner...

Aarushi

Thumbs down Re: Eucerin Moisturizer

Hi Cindhuja,

Eucerin and Cetaphil both come in creams and lotions. If you find the Eucerin cream thick...then try the Eucerin lotion.

Personally, I use Cetaphil for our entire family. My children also apply on their face and body ..since the skin becomes dry here during winter.

I use Olay moisturizer ( for combination/oily skin) for my face.

Cetaphil lotions are really easy to apply and non greasy too. Mostly doctors suggest Eucerin and Cetaphil ...since they are fragrance free and are suitable for sensitive skin.

So, next time look for the lotions...that may come in tubes or plastic bottles with pump.

Cheers
Krithika
