| G'day Shravantika, Saw your post. I did my Ghrihapravesh without a priest. I was new to Melb. No friends.Nothing. Other than the divinity, no one helped or guided us. I was in a hotel for a month. Mom had an Almanac. She suggested a good date. I did Ganeshji's pooja along with the boiling over of the milk & that's it. Shravantika, faith is more important. Yes, you may have certain wishes like: get a priest etc. But when you do not have one/not interested in getting one, DIY (Do it yourself) is the best Mantra. For more easy advice, I would suggest you to email Chitraji (Chitvish). She is the best one to advice you. She has helped many NRIs like me with queries. Regards, Corallux
