You can have aloo, paneer, methi different varieties. (5) Dessert - rava kesari, simplest. Rice kheer (Pal payasam) hope this helps :) BTW, thats a good thing you are involved into.. Volunteering in library. Whenever you get a chance, can u explain a bit more, like what you do etc :) may be I can try too !!

| Hey Nandhu, Thanks a lot for your ideas. Its a snack type of program.Since it is with teens I dont want to make elaborate indian dishes..I want them simple and tasty.... Tomato rice seems to be a good idea..I am sure they'll like it. I am actually a computer volunteer in the Library. They give me small projects on Acces or Excel .If they dont hav eanything I teach seniors how to use the computer, check e-mails and stuff. Since I am on H4 i cannot work. So I thought this would be a good experience. And since I am the only indian in the library...they want me to do this program. Bipasha |

| Dear Jithiks (Krithika), I am sorry I was away from home for the weekend and could not check IL. Yes dearie,my recipe is v similar to yours but I dont add carrot ( I feel it makes the curry little watery) and fennel seeds ( as i dont like it). I have made it only once for a potluck and everybody seamed to love it. Hope bipasha uses it in her class. Dear Bipasha, My recipe is v similar to the one krithika has mentioned. So i dont think i need to write it again. Have a great time and let us know what happened at the class. suji Last edited by Sujimallige; 24th March 2008 at 02:03 PM. |
