Marriage gift for sister/brother

Hi all,
There is going to be two marriages in our family this year. Can anyone suggest me what can be gifted to a sister/brother for marriage. This is the first time somebody this close (sibling) is getting married so I have no idea what to gift.

Let me tell you what we usually follow in our family.If it is life the new couple is going to set up a new house for themselves, we discuss among ourselve and buy different things to set up the house, it could be a complete kitchen, fridge , washing machine, microwave etc.,
If in case they already have the house and household ready, we gift them the money so that they can invest it in the way they like it. My uncle has purchased a land with all the gift money his sisters and brothers had given him.
If they don't suit you , don't take it otherwise, just take it easy.

YOu can get a household item, ornament. You can also gte them a honey moon package, subscribe them to a vacation time share plans os that they can go on vacations every year. Also, personalised scrap books or a collection of photos can be given as an additional gift.

In my brother Marriage we gave him a Gold Braclet to my brother , and my 6 Aunty togather gave Almari

my sugeestions is either
1 gold item or
2.house item as other indus ladies said.
3 Tour package

Gold item is my all time favorite too. As it lasts for life time. That way they will always have memory of you.
