| Ramya, flu shots are generally recommended - some peds still leave the option to parents. However, if you have given the first set, I understand it is necessary to give the booster shots with in the month of the first shots. If it's too late, not a problem and nothing to worry - it is as good as not giving a shot ( the first shot will not have effect by itself I guess). | Ramya, Flu shot when given the first time, is done in two shots. The second (booster) shot is given sometime after 6-8 weeks the first one. This is just for the first time. The year after just once. HTH. |
