where do you want to settle in India or here

Definitely would like to Settle in India.Miss the Family,Festivals,Food everything.

Great to see so many of you wnat to come back to India.

But i feel that whatever decision you take, then go with it wholeheartedly. There should be not regrets later.

My sisters SIL was in US for 1 1/2 yr. and there she was feeling home sick and came back to India. Everyone told them that this is too short a time to decide stay for atleast 3 yrs then see how you feel. But she was adamant.

Now she dosen't like it here and keeps comparing with US. Her kids have settled well as they were not enjoying much in US due to the freedom here of playing and also good weather.

So dear friends, what some of you have rightly pointed out family politics, the freedom of staying there independently and consequently here in joint family etc has its own pros and cons...so prepare yourself first then accept whatever you face.

Many of them find it difficult to deal with the corruption here. The cleanliness and hygiene etc. etc.

This is not to discourage...but giving pointers.

We would definitely like to go back to India.......only waiting for our daughter to complete her education. She too misses her friends and the way of life in India a lot.

We feel we have to be near our parents in their old age. But we feel India too is getting to be an expensive place to stay!!!!!!!!!

nice to hear that most of them r thinking of returning to india. even we have decieded to go to india for good in 2010. many have asked me the question if i tell them i have plans of going back to india. i used to tell this see we go to office to work though we like the office environment and other stuff there, though we have the job satisfaction we come back home in the evening. does this mean that we don't like our work place ?????. we know that its our place of work and not our home and we come back home once we r done.
