| Hi Ilites, Yesterdat I went shopping for groceries after almost 2 months since I was away in India for over a month, and I came to know that there is no more import of any wheat flour from India. Especially my favourite brand of Pillsbury atta isn't there in any grocery shop and I am disappointed. Now, will you please let me know people who are used to Pillsbury atta's fluffy roti, whats the second best that makes us forget Pillsbury in furture, among the locally made brands. I am not interested in brands like Sakthi Bhog, Laxmi, golden temple etc., are all not good for my taste. I am sure you all have come to know about the shortage of Pillsbury atta, and figued out the best alternate by now. Your help would be very much needed asap!!!!!!!!!! Waiting for your feed back to make roti, Geeth Priya. |

| Hi, I have been using the SUJATA brand atta for some time now and it is pretty good. The rotis come out nice and soft and stay softer for longer and tastes good too. Hope you will like it too. Thanks |

| Hi Sakich, Sujata brand is again from India and hence due to ban, it is not available in any bay area shops. I am interested in a good local brand atta which is equally good like Pillsbury or Sujata. Let me know if u have any idea. Thanx, Geeth Priya. |

| I like the Laxmi brand atta. But if you've already tried it and don't like the taste, then I guess you can buy a small pack of the other local brands like Golden Temple etc and try it one by one till you find one whose taste you like...?

| How can one say its Whole Wheat?Though all the Atta packages claim so.... I tried Swad,Kohinoor,Golden Temple...to me it doesnt look like Whole Wheat becos of the color..but Sujata and lakshmi are darker... How have you all felt? |

| Hi Shravanthika, After tasting all brands here, I feel Lakshmi does not contain any maida and is entirely whole wheat (at least that is what it feels like to me). My parents also liked its taste and couldn't make out any difference from what they eat in India... love, Aarushi
