No more Pillsbury Atta / Sujata Atta in Bay area, in entire US

Ine great news now the ban from sujata is lifted and it will be again available in bay area.

Hi Bay area Ladies,

I saw Sujata Atta being sold in New India Bazaar , El Camino, Santa clara Location. The 20 lb bag is priced at $17.99 and one bag per family restriction is still there.
I am looging in to let you all know about this news as soon I got back from the shop.

I am sure you all would appreciate my news and thank God or solving your roti problem.

I am not sure if the same brand is available in any Indian store, but you can check it out and let all know if anywherelese, its available.

Thanx ladies for the brain storming of how to cope up with the existing local brand atta.

Finally to put an end to my misery, I bought the Sujata Atta. Now, for the last 4 days, I am making roti with it. Though this atta smells good and makes me feel like its made out of pure wheat without the added content of maida/white flour, I found the quality of Sujata atta is little less than my favourite Pillsbury. Sujata rotis aren't as soft as Pillsbury Rotis, but its definitely better than other local brands.

I thought I should give my opinion here after so much of discussion about various brands of atta.

Don't worry folks...

If our brands are not available... the whole wheat flour available in the US markets are also nice and healthy. We are using this flour only. You can feel the real flavour of wheat in those chappatis !!!
