Ask ur parents to check out National insurance in India itself. It covers medical ins, loss of baggage etc.

Hi,

ICICI Lombard is pretty good too. My parents bought insurance from them while visiting US.

I dont think they really need travel insurance. I got my parents health insurance with ICICI. I think thats the really cheap one compared to all other plans

Default Re: Visitors Medical Insurance??

I feel its always better to get insurance from US itself. Indian based insurance companies are notorious for not paying up on flimsiest of excuses.

PS: There is already a thread on Visitors insurance so I'm merging your thread with this one...http://www.indusladies.com/forums/im...insurance.html

Hopefully you'll get a much better picture after going through it.

Regards,
Aarushi

I agree with Aarushi, In my opinion it is better to get insurance form US, atleast you'll be having access to them over phone. ICICI reputation is not good, pls check immihelp.com and path2usa.com. They have lot of complaints agains ICICI. My grandmom is coming here next month and I'll get her insurance from here only. Hope it helps.

Hi,

Also try Visitor Medical Insurance, Visitor Health Insurance. They help you compare the various visitor insurance options and help you get a good deal. There is also extensive learning content to get yourself familiar with the visitor insurance details.
