Ban on Rice pdts lifted

Hello Everyone,

The good news is the Govt.Of India has lifted all ban on rice and wheat products with immediate effect. So there should not be any problem for ppl in US to get these products in the Indian stores .

thats good news.. but i forced my hubby to buy and stock rice this weekend for a higher price.rice bags sitting in my kitchen..

This is good news. But the link provided (Export ban on non-basmati rice partially lifted) states that the ban is lifted on expensive variety of rice. Which exactly is this variety of rice????
