Is this place in the Mall or private studio? take change of clothes and ask if they will help with dress, hair etc. You can also go to the salon that day and get hair done well. In the style that you like, I have seen portraits of women with fine indian jewellery looks grand. And just follow instructions of photographer.

Try wearing some pattu saree the opposite colour of your hubby's suit, or matching one. Both will look nice. You can sit and huuby can stand behind you. Or you can sit at different levels.A traditional you will be very nice.

dear mythu,
if you have crepe they fall very well on your body and do not give a bloated look like the kanchipuram sari until it mellows well after many use, and as it is going to be a u and hubby kind do take trouble about your hair, i dont think you get flowers like jasmine and all in US so try out something that would match your dress and of course as it is a photograph after a year of marriage you can just wear a string of pearl that is very majestic anywhere for a photograph. any way one more offer get two or three sitting and standing i will help u enhance it with photoshop and we can both sit together and may be add jasmine to your hair too...sunkan
