No more Sona Masoori Rice from India??Other Rice brands??

Yesterday i too brought 1 bag 20lb for $25.99. I think they raise prices again. We have to stock them . Even in sams club basmati rice is high 20lb is $25 .

Why are you not trying Gaint/Safeway's Jasmine rice ? It is also good and not stickly, if you are using less water ( 1cup of rice - 0.75 cup of water) . We are using that only from the starting, pls. do give a try .

I'm using jasmine rice from SAMS.

2 days back we got it for 16.99 a bag of udupi sona masoorI. also some of them r in 18 and 19 $. which were 30$ a week back.though i have checked in one single shop. so just wanted to know what's up in your locality.....`

sorry friends. did anybody go to bombay bazaar. they have increased the price again. that was a long weekend sale price it seems. so keep looking.

I got 10 lbs of Swad brand Ponni Raw Rice for $16.99/- and Idly rice 20 lbs for $35.00/- in New England.

Just a 3 days ago.

I cant believe this. Why are they charging more?

For me too the same,i prefer only sona massoori rice

But there is some problem with imports and exports
