Default Dishtv VS Direct tv

Hi all ILites
Pls help me in choosing b/w thses two..
i used to watch vijay yv shows...But my friends who have set up direct tv says that the service is not up to the mark and mostly they broadcast the recorded programs all the time and thers no live broadcasting..Is it true?
since i watch only a couple of prog in suntv im apprehensive in choosing dishtv..But heard that broadcasting is live and quality is gud..
What abt cost diff and the no of channels?
Pls enlighten me

Hi Ramya,
I had Dish network earlier with two Telugu channels. I would say their customer service is pathtic..so much so that we changed to direct tv. I think price wise they are competitive and programming is also better in Direct Tv( Iam not sure about Tamil programming though)..This is my personal opinion..

It seems we'll not get signal for both direct and dish..So we dropped the idea..
