Hi Ramya,

yeah as u said, the flavour of water cress is so and soo...U could actually saute some methi leaves and cilantro leaves and add to watercress dal.But since it is a rich source for antioxidants,It tastes awesome when we use methi leaves and cilantro.

cheers,
vaishu

Vaishnavi,

my friend makes very good kanda bachali kura. Just yesterday another friend dropped off a bag of bachali akulu and a bag of gongura akulu. I will try your recipe for kanda bachali this weekend.

Vaishnavi/Ramya,

How is the smell of Watercress.....does it stink? Just asking as a precaution before venturing to buy.

SPINACH CAN BE USED FOR PAKODI ALSO,
WASH AND CUT THEM FINELY, NOW ADD SOME BESAN AND CHILLIE POWDER, SALT AND ONIONS CHOPPED MIX THEM AND IMMEDIATELY MAKE PAKODIS, IF U WANT TO MAKE IT FOR GRAND OCCASSION JUST INSERT A SMALL CUBE OF CHEESE INTO THIS IT BECOMES MELA WALA PAKODI...SUNKAN

U CAN MAKE THE RADISH GREEN BY ADDING CHOPPED ONIONS AND GREEN CHILLIES, AND SOME GARLIC IF U LIKE AND FRY IN A LITTLE OIL WHICH IS KNOWN AS VADAKKAL IN TAMIL, ADD SALT AND IT IS VERY GOOD WITH RICE, LIKE HOW WE MAKE THANDU KEERAI, WHICH IS SIMPLY SUPERB WHEN DONE VADAKKAL...SUNKAN
