period postponement tablets

Hi All,

can anyone please tell me the name of the tablet for period postponement. can we get it over the counter from CVS.

Hi,
There are no such tablets here in US over the counter.
You need to go to your OB/GYN for this prescription.
They would give you birth control pills for 2 months.
So you need to go in advance to your doctor for this prescription.
They would ask you to take first 3 weeks pills and skip the 4th week pill (during periods pill) and continue to take the other 3 weeks pills from second month packet.
I haven't tried this one and not sure how its going to work and affect your body / hormones etc.
So its better to get the postpone tablets from India and keep it.
Also, your insurance won't cover for your doctor's visit and prescription for these kinds of scenarios.

I would strongly suggest you not to use any of those tablets.Short term studies have linked them to Cancer...eventhough big pharma cos have told otherwise with their research...

U cant get it directly unless u have prescription from Gyn. In US without prescription u cant get the tablet, take an appointment with Gyn for further suggestions.
