Default Travel and Vaccinations

Hi all

I live in Memphis,Tennesse and am planning a trip to India next month. I have a 14 month old and I'll be going to take her 15 month shots nefore going to India. I asked the nurse about other vaccinations before travel, she asked me to go to this site and check.Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. But I am not able to get any specific information.
Can anyone please help me out on this. I've heard about taking shots on Malaria and Polio. Is this true. Anyone out there went with their children at this age to India. What shots did you take? Please ,any information would be of great help. Thanks!!

Vidya
