Settle overseas?

Hello
This is a question to all of you settled outside India(permanently) ---what made you settle where you are?Do you think it's worth it?In short,can you share your thoughts on settling abroad,what made you settle there,how it will affect your kids' education and upbringing,being away from family, and related issues...

nice thread. we are not settled here just for job. when i was in malaysia i was plannning to settle but in china no ways. if i go to some other country where no language problem easy acessibility of govt help and kid's education can be done properly and we can get indian eatables then some hope, otherwise india is better. See other's response. What sout u r u settled in aus u were looking for cbse in aus did u get anything regarding that?

No,I didn't get any responses about CBSE overseas.Anyway,I don't think Aus will have CBSE.
I was just wondering why people choose to settle abroad,and what they compromise on...thanks for the reply!

u may be having many relatives in india whoever can meet the principal of any kendriya vidyalaya , central school, jawahar navodaya or any schools which is based totally on cbse they can tell u whom to contact in delhi. i studued in kv cbse i had one friend her father used to get abroad transfers and she studied her 7th std in iraq then 9th std in london for 8th and 10th she was with us. u try through ur relatives who can personally visit any branch definitely u will gat help. cbse sets up different pattern paper for foreign students. they don't conduct classes but they call u for unit test and final exam. one of my colleague is in libya her children are in libya they study at home and go to some particular centre for exams. have u contacted indian embassy regarding this? try hope u may get this.
