Shipping furniture to India.

Hi all:

Does anyone here know how we send furniture and other household things and books from the US to India? What are the rates to send through ship and is there any website for this?

I have heard people shipping furniture, if it is really a neat one, from the US to India when they move for good. But don't know the details about how they do it.

Good thread but sorry can't get anyone who knows about it.

If you are sending it via Sea,the rates are calculated per cubic feet.


We did send our friend's things from US to India through ECONOMY Sea Freight service. FREE INSTANT quotes online. there was no furniture,just boxes of things.

Another friend used Sky2c.
