Nice to see this Thread.... then, intersiting to know about hidden thing (like sharadha's naming ceremony...Nice name Sharadha) there name.Their is no hidden story behind my user ID. My name is Devi my DH name is Kulothungan, both of our name combination is my user ID. After my wedding all our friend's startted to calling me as a Kopurum Devi. I like this name too!!

In our practice, we use to call people with names like 'krishna, krishnamurthy etc., etc., by a shartened name 'KITCHU'. In my case, my son's name Krishna is used as prefix by my wife to call me as kitchu's appa i.e., kitchuppa. Since she was calling me by name with 'da' frequently it was difficult for her to call me after marriage.(of course nowadays it has become practice to call by name with vada poda and all). She managed one year and after my son's birth she started calling like this and the same I used here as my name. My actual name is Sundar.

i did wonder whenever i happened to see different usernames. good idea that you have started the thred. by the way you are krisna's amma right....so what is your original name if you donot mind!? as far as mine it nothing secret or story behind it..i am geetha and when i tried to register here i got the user name as only geeth...probably this IL site knows that i am great in singing!!!! hahahaa.

nice going through the stories behind the user names..hope to get more...

A nice thread to share abt the ids.
My hubby's name s Ravikanth and he wants see me happy and cheerful all the time .That's y its cheers_sunray.
Later on I thought of changing my Id to cheers_sunlight as it would give my name also,Deepa......But no luck.
There's no chance of changing IDs
