which car to buy?

I am planning to buy a car within a budget of 5 L

which small car should i go for and why?

my personal choice would be

• Hyundai i20
• Hyundai i10
• Maruti SWIFT
• Maruti Ritz
• Zen Estillo
• Waganor
• Maruti A-Star
• Indica Vista

pls help with stats....comfort, price, milage, availabilty of spares etc

Hmmm My friend has Hyundai i10 and its a pretty great car. It looks good and he is quite happy with its performance. I think you can buy that as it looks woman friendly

zen estilo doesnt had good feed back direct from the dealers itself they are saying old zen is better than the latest.one of my friends purchased and was not happy with zen estilo as i had some bending experience in turns


looks wise maruthi swift and i20 is good i heard performance is also good

wagon R is good with respect to price and milage but looks like zeep which is not liked by me with respect to looks

i10 is ok with looks and mileage and performance is also very good as my cousin purchased last yr and she was happy with that.

i thinku had already checked various websites for reviews,if not first go ahead

I dont have any idea about CARs in India...i started thinking of CAR only after coming to US. even my in-laws are asking about the models but i am unable to help them..
hopefully i will get some idea here...

You can go for FIAT PUNTO DYNAMIC. You get the good comfort, mileage and the spares will be available almost in all TATA showrooms.


Hyundai i10: A good decision. You can also go for this
Hyundai i20: Not a good value for money IMHO.
SWIFT: Outdated model but still many love. Crooked interiors and comfort level is not up to the mark.
RITZ: i personally don't like the design of RITZ... else its a good car. Legroom is not as big as normal vehicles.
ZEN ESTILO: under powered engine of that category. better no to go for that.
WAGONR: comfort factor is not up to the mark. An average.
A-STAR: leg room is cramped
INDICA VISTA: Top end model is preferred!!! 5.27 on the road!!!

acc to me Maruti SWIFT is the best among those..it has very comfort seating..
