Engineering or Medical?Which do you prefer most as a career

now a days students who are coming out of class 12 ....does or doesnt prefer the engineering and medical field.
what do you think...is it the only promising career for the science guys...depending on the prospect in India.

Gone are the days rushing and urging for medical seat. Now-a-days students as well as parents analyse a lot before deciding a course. Ofcourse still there are some medical sprees. If their parents were doctors or if some of the parents who were not able to become a doctor sure try for it.

Now-a-days students are ready to take up new courses ad excel in it. Rather than opting for an engineering many elect for a graduation in arts college with IT as major and then they excel step by step safely getting into a job, simultaneously doing some certification.

but u know there are still parents who force their son/daughter to work hard hard and hard to get a medical seat or a engineering seat in a good college....parents still are not that much aware to let their lad get into courses in which they have the probability...the likings....and due to it many talents are misused

Interesting! As far as I am concerned, no medical, no Eng.! In fact let ur child develop his/her talent and choose what they want to be! Very aptly put, Gone are those days of Eng. and MEd. , just let the kid be, and choose what they want to excel in. As long as they are focussed, let them choose their path!

I dont think so ....it all depends on an individual,,,,his or her prespective...it is true that....there are now a days lot many career oppurtunities but yet....the medical career or the engineering has a bit of different glamour.....i am not contradicting on other careers too..but in india still people are after engineering and medical streams.....
