I have enquired about this info from citibank, icici and SBI in bangalore. They have confirmed that no such facility is available right now. One lady from citibank asked me, "Madam, if we provide such an important feature, will we advertise that and also provide that in the printed information given to you".

So we can safely conclude that this does not work in India.

Malspie. thanks for the initial post, whether its hoax or not, still we should be aware of few things.
