Dear Senorita,

while I agree with you on the over interference of media, you must also admit that these incidents are coming to light only because of media. Will you agree that to some extent they are helping in spreading the awareness of the types of crimes and criminals so that people can prevent certain crimes.

In a country like India, most of the cases don't see the day light if media does not step in. But yes, their nonsensical reporting irritates me too...when they forget the objective and importance of reporting the item for TRP ratings.

Hi Tanmayi,

Like Nandu said middle eastern punishment for people like rajesh. In Saudi Arabia they punish in front of the public.

Rather i would suggest that there should be a permanent mark on the forehead mentioning their crime. So that wherever they go people would come to know about him and the best punishment is to ignore .

Madam,
It is very unwise and illogical to discuss cases which are being tried in the court..the investigation and the case is still on...Because all the facts and truth is not out yet...This is called as trial by media..we should not resort to this and jump to conclusions and opinionate one side agianst the other..
.Remember the media also said the house servant in this case, a 47 year old man had intimate physical relations with her , despite having a married daughter and son-in-law of his own... This can be called as an honour killing by an angry father too..we can't believe all this just now and take one side or other...

Not just yet!

no, i dont have any updates, cause i have to some extent stopped checking as to what is going on, cause all the hype that is going on just irritates me. the media, the police, her parents, the servant, and that other lady. i just dont understand as to how are the police investigating this case, there seem to be so many prints all around and they are not able to get any ? When the post mortem was conducted on Arushi' body, did they not find any finger prints. no prints on the stairs, the gallery. the ac, etc, honestly it is all pathetic. I agree the media highlights it issue and so things work faster that they usually would, but they for how long, slowly everyone just forgets and nobody realises that a sweet girl of 15 has such a cruel death. and no peace even after death, there are all types of lables put on to her, very sad. Remember the Nithari case, what happened, just nothing. The media is only concerned about their present and hot news, then they also dont care when the news gets old, then however cruel it must had been. They should really pursue it till the last. In Arushi's case also the cpu was taken, Dr, Talwar;s Narco analysis was to be done, This case has similarly come to Nithari's case and will soon be closed. and poor arushi has been labelled as being of a bad character that all of the ones knowing her will deny her identity. Fine i think i should stop as it makes my temper rise and knowing that i am just a mute spectator makes is even more worse. I really feel that the guilty should be made to go thru the same cruelty that he has done. Just pray to god that one day these people get the punishment of their deeds.
