Default car driving

dear all,

i have been using two wheeler for almost 10 years. One fine day my dh asked me to learn car driving.so i took some driving classes and got the license too.
I was very much comfortable with the driving school car and i was able drive it alone.
After taking license my dh took me to some playground to practice. There also i had no problem. But the main problem for me in my car is the half clutch.I am not able to operate the half clutch properly.whenever i try to press half clutch and restart the car stops.THat too here as the roads are not uniform (ups and downs),i am very much scared to take my car out.

i am a very good two wheeler driver.so everyone is scolding me to learn car driving also.

Do you have such exps in driving car. Please share your exps here.

hi
to restart the car put the gear in neutral and start the car. i think you are talking about, half clutch driving which you may have to drive inch by inch during heavy traffic while climbing over a bridge right? if that then you have to practice around your place where there is not much traffic. (not in a ground where there is no traffic at all). it is quite common for all beginners. to have a grip on the clutch first try with empty food(no chppals or shoes) then once you know the knack you can drive with shoes or chapals. this i learnt from a driver. i have seen almost all drivers drive with empty foot. well then do not get panic while driving. all the best

Hi VK,

I took only 2 days to learn car driving , but this problem was there for some days, u dont stop driving because of this. Leave the clutch slowly and simultaniously press the accelarator.

My friend was very nervous to take the car out here in Navi Mumbai. The Palm Beach Road is very famous for speedsters and she had to take her car on that road to go to work. Out of fear of the clutch control she had stopped taking it. Then one of her male colleague suggested her to take the car an he will follow behind her. This went on for a week later she had a total control on the vehicle. I think it needs some practice and a person to encourage constantly.

dear huma,

ya.you are right. There is no half clutch or gears in us and also when we go on roads with ups and downs, the car will not move downwards and one more thing traffic system is too good.
