This was found in his diary,
Dear God, I promise I will never waste my food no matter how bad it can taste and how full I may be. I pray that He will protect this little boy, guide and deliver him away from his misery. I pray that we will be more sensitive towards the world around us and not be blinded by our own selfish nature and interests.

I hope this picture will always serve as a reminder to us that how fortunate we are and that we must never ever take things for granted.

What kind of world we live in!!!

Very pathetic indeed! We never realise that we have many blessings, we always look at things which we think we need and do not have. I am one for not wasting food items. When I see the posh wedding feasts which are a norm nowadays in Chennai, I literally have blood for tears. Almost all people have some kind of problem and so avoid many food items. But they never say no when served ( sometimes the food is already served even before the guests sit for food). And all that previous food is wasted. I do not even waste water, I ask only when I need.

Each one is thought provoking....I saw this pic just before I could sit down for dinner..guess what? I could not eat a morsel without feeling guilty...

I can understand why the photographer killed himself......

This pic is very strong...but very thought provoking & apt specially when "The Age" carried a front headliner warning us of the looming food crisis.....

Hi thanks for replies.. really this one photo made me to think a lot abt how frequently we waste food.. This one pic touches humanity, i pray all of you to help ppl and especially children who are shelter less and starving..

I had shown this to one of my friend, she was really shocked and she soon took decision that she will distribute food in orphanages at least once in a yr (on her kid B'day...)

Yes, I try to do my duty towards mankind; Started donating a bag of rice from my last b’day… With god’s grace, hope to continue the same as long as I’m alive to see my b’days.
I go mad when people waste food at home.

Ya I too saw this picture. You really feel sad when u see them. There was one more picture I think it is been removed from the site now, that is in google, I had seen a man eating another man it was so horrible to look at.

I have seen this picture before..but the thought of not wasting food can be learnt ...n number of times. We are all so very blessed to have 3 square meals, when people around us are suffering for just a morsel....I hate to waste food.If i dunt need it i say no when served.....Me n hubby are in the same page when it comes to wasting food.
