If you had the power to UNDO in your life?

Dear all,

The title itself is indeed surprising. I'm sure that many of us would expect to have an UNDO button (or CTRL + Z) to reverse a few happenings in our life.

C'mon, share a few things which you wanted to undo, if its not too personal .

To start with me, I wanted to undo...
- the farewell (last) day at my school & college, so that life can start all over again with friends.
- landing in accounts field , so that I could have taken up my favorite english literature.
- disobeying my mom's suggestion to take up teaching profession..finally finding that teaching has got immense scope in the place I live now

Appreciate your inputs.

A very different topic. ! Life has been pretty good to me. God has been very kind . But yet knowing fully well such a thing would never happen, I still would like to use ctrl+z , to wipe the untimely demise of my Father, who left me very early with a handicapeed heart. I wish he would have been physically existing through the various phases of my life. Physically because I know he's watching me from up there and guiding me but it would have been godgift if he had been here with me.

nice thought for a thread ...:)
was thinking of the one thing i would have liked to cntrl z as soon as i saw the thread title, and when i saw ur post, i was struck with surprise, because the only thing i would undo will be wrong career choice of accounting,because it turned out that i wasnt quite cut out for it(and couldnt compete the course), and i love english literature as well....i always regret not doing my B.A Litt...and not taking up a teaching profession....
if not that,my other choices would have been journalism or photography,as these are my other loves....

Hi all,

If i had UNDO button in my life i wud use it for my birth as a female. Life as a girl child has been not vry easy for me bcos of my parents conventional background. Anyhow, im happy after marriage and blessed with a happy life but sometimes get scared abt the ups n downs my little daughter has to go thru in her life.
During our little fights, my hubby says he wished he had UNDO button to nullify our marriage. I tease him saying that anyday if u find that UNDO button i will also find REDO button along with it!!

There are some things that I would like to undo:

(1) I should have pursued my studies in my favorite subject and got a Phd.

(2) I regret not completing my French Course @ Alliance Francais- could complete only the first level.

Very good post.........

I would want to go back to my 12th std and run around tuition centres and behind friends in my good old cycle.

I would want me and my dad sit in the road platform at 11:30 in the nite and have kulfi, roaring with laughter like kids......unfortunately my dad passed away as soon as i completed college.

I would want my dad to be with me and we would have enjoyed my first salary in my dad's favourite restuarant.........

every month when i get my salary, i would think of my golden days with my dad .......

if time was to go back.........and all of us got everything we wished in life, why would we look for GOD????..........
