DO BOOND PANI in DESERT OF RAJASTHAN

On 27 th march After Many years wait of almost 5 yrs the Narbada canal from Gujrat ( Sardar sarover dam ) has finally reached the Desert of Rajasthan on 27 the march CM Vasundhara Raje ingaurated the arrival of Canal. The dream Come True !

Herds of people in colorful dresses & with a festival mood came from Kms. to watch the water & to perform the Pooja ,lebelling it as Pure as GANGES water & rightly so.

So many villages of western Rajasthan desert area of Barmer & Jalore wud get the life giving water now And that too without florides.

So Many villages in Western Rajasthan where tube wells have been very deep the water is so much so contiminated with high floride contents that wud u believe whole of the village people at early age of 25 to 30 yrs suffer from advanced florosis & banding of knees arthritis & paralysis And with no known treatment available become handicap for life long .

There are no. of villages where nobody get married due to high floride content no parents want to give their daughters in such villages.

Now in these villages one wud listen the songs & music of marriges.

Looking to this ,the Objections raised By Medha Patkar & Actor Amir Khan looked mundane .

That must be a big relief in Rajasthan Jaishree,

I do agree kuch paane ke liye kuch khona padta hai.

I do hope the people who had to leave their homes due to the dam have been given alternative arrangements

That's a good news for poor rajasthan villagers,but the same time govt should help the people those who are lost their lands and houses for this project.then only we can say this project is a success one.
