Smile narrow boating in UK

hi friends,

For this easter holidays i went to narrow boat riding. It is a wonderful experience so i wanted all of you people to know about the tour details.

There are many canals in UK and you can even travel to Wales and Scotland in them, but we opted for short tour. We went to Ashby canal near Coventry. The boat we took is a double bedroom with one bathroom, diningroom and kitchen with all utensils, including gas stove, so easy to cook. We have to drive our boat (its very easy) and can stop at many places which include some hotels, restuarents and pubs ( ) on the side of canal. Beautiful countryside view and climate makes perfect holiday. I suggest people to go with friends.
I can assure you that, you dont even think of drowning coz its just 5 feet deep and 10 feet broad. The longer you book the cheaper the price.
drawbacks-you have to drive on your own so somebody have to be engaged there
must take-disposable items (to save time)and indian food(rice, roti, curd, pickles etc)english food you get anywhere(bread,jam,milk..etc). Frozen food will be an added advantage.

Hi Santhisantosh:

Thanks for writing in here. That was surely a novel way of spending your Easter. I would love to try something like that - it is so different from the normal trips that we make. but ofcourse I would have to come back to the UK for that:)
