Aloe vera works as a conditioner to the hair. While making sikaikai powder you could cut alovera to pieces and dry it up in the sun. Then you can mix it with sikaikai. You could also use aloe vera juice to mix powder hairdye. The juice could be mixed with multhani mitti and could be used as face pack also. I have written an article in " Mangayar Malar" about the uses of aloe vera.

Dear all ,
One more tip : Peel off & take out the aloe- vera pulp . Cut it into tiny pieces . Swallow them along with butter- milk . ( the taste will be ve....ry bitter . Never mind . ) Do it daily before taking breakfast . Best way to cool ur body .
With love ,
Indhu .

Hi Ramya,
You are lucky to have aloe vera at your home. Here in US aloe vera
products are expensive and very popular too. Eating aloe vera is
ofcourse heat reducing but don`t take it at your period times.
It is uterine opener and cleanser. If you are trying for a baby, don`t
take it. It is good for skin too. You peel off the skin and rub it over
the skin. After half hour you can wash it. My mother-in-law is using
it for joint pain ( rubbing on the ailing joint)
