Hello Vidya,

Eyeliners come in different forms like liquid, gel, powder, wax-based like soft pencils and kohl is also a kind of eyeliner. There are smudge-proof liners available in the market.

Personally, I tried Lakme liquid eyeliner, but had to change as it got clumpy after a while. Now, I am using liner with felt tip. It dries in an instant. Felt tip is something like our sketch pen tip.

Will surely let you know in a couple of days, if found any.

Hope this helps.

Hey Vidyaa,

No formalities between us, please. Treat me as your reliable friend and shoot as many questions as possible. In fact, I will be glad if I can answer all of them. After all, there is no harm in sharing things we know, right? Will you feel the same way if I was in your shoes?

Felt-tip liners are available in many brands. I use Lakme High Definition eyeliner. Revlon too has felt-tip liners.

Come up with more questions, please!

Hey Banu,

Thank you so much dear.....

You know, I was not the kinda girl who uses these kind of cosmetics before my marriage... But my DH feels, it is a must for girls to carry themselves well, taking good care of the skin and hair and make use of the latest products to still improve our beauty... so now i am put into all like this...

Anyway, i hope i can enquire for felt tip eyeliner ( either from Lakme or Revlon) in shops and will get back to you after that.. but how much do you think it would cost around... (Good to know the range of the product before we actually plan to buy it, right?)
Love,
Vidyaa

Hey Vidyaa,

Yes, girls do need makeup to carry themselves. Your DH was right, in fact.

I bought Lakme liner for 125/- long back, but now I heard it is somewhere around 200/-. I am not sure of Revlon prices, though. Sorry, I could not be of help in that.

Where have you put up in Chennai?

Love,
D

Smile Re: My product review !

Hello everybody,

Today's product for review would be Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Scrub.

I came to UK 9 months back, but did not carry any of my cosmetics. When I was trying to fill my cabinet, I found out this great product from Neutrogena. I am using this product for the past 7 months and I can say, this will be my second choice. My first choice will always be Lakme strawberry face wash, though.

The cooling menthol gel in this leaves your skin clean and revitalised, though your skin might feel taut. Energising microbeads brighten up the skin and sweep away the dead skin cells that tend to clog the skin pores. It is supposed to suit all skin types.

First use of it, my face dried up and skin became tighter. Many will not like menthol on their faces as eyes tend to water. Definitely, make it a point to moisturize your face after use. This product can make skin dry, so that excess usage can strip off essential oils.

Skin might break out at first like you might get a zit here and there, but it's just the way the product works. It also helps in enhancing complexion and in treating acne.

A little bit of it gives great results and the tube lasts longer than expected. This product is not bunk and will definitely be my primary tool.

Yours friendly,
D.

dear banu,

thankyou sooooooo much for all your detailed replies and your compliments!!!
i 'll try at lakme salon soon for jewel sindoor.
still iam not convinced about using a conditioner and scared of hairfall.
using a gloss always is a great and smart choice. yes it looks attractive. i agree with you. once my husband gifted me an elle gel lipstick in a tube form, still iam using it for its easy application tip eventhough i dislike the color.
love to hear from you more.

BTW, your nellore thread is an interesting one. imppressed very much by that and want to make a visit whenever possible . can you please tell me more details about the place like the distance from chennai or chittoor, its famous picnic spots and especially the names of its reputed gold shops etc. sorry for coming under this thread. i will look for your replies under the nellore thread. bye!
