Default Grey hair problem

Hi Sumi,

You can get henna powder(mehendi powder) here in the U.S. too. Check out in a nearby Indian stores in your locality.

Also, did you check this thread? There was a separate discussion about grey hair.

Hi Sonu

Thanks for u r suggestion. I tried for henna powder in U.S.(Florida - tampa). I can't get that powder. They are selling only the mehandhi which is used to apply for our hands. I don't know that I can buy and apply it for my hair. Bcos there may be any chemical mix in that mehandhi.

So I will try once again...

Smile Home made Moisturizer

Home made Moisturizer<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Take a mixture of glycerine and rosewater in equal parts. Apply on face. It is a cheap and effective moisturizer.

Default A glowing skin

Try this out for a glowing face

Equal amount of honey + lemon for normal skin, or equal amount of honey + cucumber juice for oily skin (i.e. 1/2 tsp each and use fresh lemon/cucumber juice). Apply for half hour on face. Well .... you will see / feel the difference on applying this mixture on the 1st day itself. (I am personally doing it)

Rita

And yes drink plenty of water...........8 glass minimum

Default Homemade Hair Spray

Hi all,

Long time since I contributed in beauty tip of the day. Here you go with a new tip...

Chop one lemon (or an orange for dry hair). Place in a pot with 2 cups water. Boil until half of the initial amount remains. Cool, strain, and place in a spray bottle. Store in the refrigerator. If it is too sticky, add more water.

Default Skin whitener!

Banana is a natural skin whitener. Mash a ripe banana and apply it in the face and neck. Wash after 10-12 minutes.

Keep repeating it atleast 1 or 2 times every week till your tan fades away.
