Thanks for sharing all kind of beauty tips in this thread. I have dry skin. For a couple of days I applied a mixture of almond oil, honey, warm milk and lemon juice mixture on my face for 15 min. Now, I have got a lot of pimples on the side of my cheeks. Basically I am finding hard time to find out which remedy will be good for me. I understand any oil base will not work. Does honey have oily characteristics too? So, what kind of packs and bleaching methods (natural) would you recommend for my kind of combination skin?

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Lucky,

To reduce double chin, you can do the following exercise as many times possible in a day.

Lift your neck up as high as possible as if you are stretching and gradually pull your chin also up by making a fish mouth. Come back to normal position.

If you repeat this several times a day, you will see good results in a few days itself. Let me know if it worked.

Hi Jyothi,

Khuskhus is called "gasa gasaa" in tamil. It looks like smaller version of musturd seeds in half white color. It is usually used in Kurmas in south.

This is my suggestion.
If u r using multani mitti, immediately stop it. Bcoz it wont suit for dry skins.
If u r not using this, its fine.
Every night, when u r going to sleep, take very little olive oil and apply to face by massaging. It is better If its lukewarm. But dont apply so many things. I somewhere heard one shouldnt apply lemon directly. I am not sure about this. So let us see what others will comment on this. If u apply olive oil (extra virgin), its more than enough.

as per my knowledge honey has oily characteristics.Mine is oily skin and once I used honey in my pack and got many pimples on my face.

also,as per my knowledge ppl wd oily skin also shd not use olive oil as it may lead to pimples.

I found just apple juice and just tomato juice very gud.I m using these two separately on my face now a days nothing else.and my face is having real glow.U can also try.just grate the apple (or tomato) and squeeze the juice.

have you been dying ur hair? Sometimes some ladies get an allergy to some hair dyes. The other thing you can dry is deep cleansing solution for cleaning pores.CLEARSIL is very good. IF the skin is not clean and the pores get clogged up thus resulting in pimples. Anyway try it out.
