Pure sandalwood powder

Hello all,

From where can I get pure sandalwood powder in Delhi region?
I need to add it in facepack.
How to know if the sandalwood sticks/bars/powder sold in the shops are genuine. I have heard they can be fake too and superficially scented...
Please suggest.

How r u. I am also belong from delhi and i am doing job in new delhi. Can u tell me where do u live in delhi or r u doing job. Ok u want sandalwood powder but u know oaktree aaj kal kuch bhi pure nahi hai everthing is unpured. I only suggest u that u can purchase Shahnaz Husain Sandaalwood Powder.

You dont get original sandalwood powder /soaps or anything now. The original soaps were big ones with a marvellous scent and relatively expensive. The closest one can be found in Mysore.

I remember using Mysore sandal soap some years back, it smells just divine
A friend suggested using sandalwood powder sold under 'khadi gram udyog' brand. Not sure how pure it is though .

Hi Shivani,
I will have a look at garnier range when i go to market next time. I don't think they have any sandalwood specific face product but i have heard that their products are mild and effective.
