Home Remedies for Obesity :
Honey is an excellent home remedy for obesity. 10 grams of honey should be taken with hot water in the starting and the doze can be increased with the time.
One teaspoon of fresh honey mixed with a juice of half a lime in a glass of lukewarm water can be taken at regular intervals.
Cabbage is considered to be an effective home remedy for obesity.
Mint is also beneficial in dealing with the problem of obesity. Mint chutney taken along with meals is highly beneficial.
Regular intake of carrot juice also helps in the reduction of weight.
Eat 10-12 fully grown curry leaves every morning for upto 3 months is helpful in weight loss.
Eating tomato early in the morning before breakfast for 3 months also reduces weight.
Boil sliced Ginger in a pot and add lemon slices when boiling, drink it while hot or allow it to cool. This will control overeating and helps in treatment of obesity.
Drink a cup of water with 3 teaspoons limejuice, one-fourth teaspoon powdered black pepper and a teaspoon of honey everyday for 3 months. This is one of the effective home remedy for obesity.
Drinking a cup of dandelion root tea thrice daily is also beneficial.
Some slimming exercise are recommended below :
Sit up with a jerk.
Stand on your knees touch eachother.
Now tense your muscles and move your neck as back as you can and resume the former position.
Sit on the stool again and repeat the process as many times you can.
Continue it till you feel tired.
Do it 50 to 100 times if you want real benefit.
Relax your body after each time that you get up and move your neck and shoulders back.
Sit with your buttocks on the edge of low-slung stool.
Extend your legs as far they will go and keep your hands on the rear end of the stool for support.
Then stand up with a jerk, inhaling deeply in the process.
And then resume your position.
Try taking your shoulders back with a jerk as you sit down. That will strengthen your spinal column.
Try skipping a rope for as long as you can. It helps in keeping the fat down.
