| Dear Priya, Honey will not change the colour of your hair. Nor will it do much else for it, either. While honey does have excellent antibacterial qualities, it has too large a molecular structure to be absorbed into the hair, where it can do any good. All it would do is temporarily coat the hair. Adapted from Naturally Healthy Hair, by Mary Beth Janssen (Storey Books, 1999). Honey is made by bees from the nectar of flowering plants and trees. It is high in vitamins and minerals, and has wonderful benefits for the skin and hair. Honey is a good humectant and emollient, serving as a good moisturizer and conditioner. SIMPLE SOLUTION: Take out some time to try this easy honey hair conditioner. The benefits will really show: Directions for using honey in hair. Add a teaspoon of honey to a teaspoon of shampoo, or use honey by itself as a wonderful hair pack and conditioner. Work 1/2 cup through your hair (using more or less according to your hair length). Put a plastic shower cap or bag over the hair for 20 to 30 minutes to let your body heat optimize the conditioning benefit of the honey, then shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Honey For Hair, Skin, Body &* Beauty Hope you find the informations useful. Regards, Suni
