Hi Grace, yup, you are right its good feeling to pick your veggies on need basis. Regarding fertilizer I use mircle-gro every two weeks. As for as bugs concerned luckily, I don't have many buys expect Japanese beetles I use Sevin-Dust powder to get rid of them!

how many hrs do u spend everyday? what do u do for rabbits, squirrels etc? here any plant i grow the rabbits and squirrels will comes and dig it out, so i lost hope.

Hi Tulasi,
I'm dumbfound with your vegetable garden. How do you maintain it? In chennai, its not possible to maintain vegetable garden due to heat. I've tried many times, but the plants couldnt sustain the heat. now i jumped to flowering plants like jasmine, anthurium,sambangi, jaadi malli, samadhi, and asparagus (non-flowering). Then to its difficult to prevent the plants from pests.

Thank you for the comments. It’s Just like my hobby and like going to gym doing gardening. So, I really don't have specific
time in a day. Since I have fence.. no rabbits, but I do have birds they eat veggies. But I am ok with it as I grow so many
veggies.. Sufficient to My family and more...

We do have pretty bad winter here but better than jersey..come Nov all of my veggie plants will be gone!
