After seeing the flowers thought to post some of my Anthuriams.

Lovely flowers - it brightens up the day. Some I recognise like roses, hibiscus etc but we don't have jasmine here.

I was interested in the passion flower. We eat a fruit here called passion fruit or more commonly granadilla. We often have the passion fruit cocktail when others are having alcoholic cocktails.

Did your flower become a fruit - can you eat it?

I checked the website Passion Fruit - Passiflora edulis
It says Passiflora edulis is commonly called purple passion fruit or granadilla - it looks so much like yours.

couldn't resist after seeing all the posts and colourful pictures, went out and bought an hibiscus plant, planning to buy more next week, gonna buy rose, adukku malli, jathi malli etc, i'm getting out of control. hope you all can support me and share some tips reg. hibiscus......

Just noticed your post about the malli question. Did you buy the plant ? do you still need help with the plant and fertilizers etc? please write. you can also post the question in the fertilizer thread for more visibility or start a seperate thread too.

I am sending some pictures of brahma kamalam. Generally these flowers will come only during july (Ashadam) but to our surprise 5 flowers bloomed on 19th september. But the flowers will start blooming from night 10 and will come to full bloom at 11. But they will whither till morning. But when they bloom it is such a feast to our eyes because during dark night these white flowers blooming, is really a fantastic scene. I can't tell in words, one has to experience it. If anybody is having unusual flowers like this, please share with us so that we all will know.
