My vegetable garden

Hi Chitra,
How are you? I was in India for my brother’s wedding for some time and came back a week ago.. My plants are really growing good my hubby took care of them in my absence.. I have lots of chilies, egg plants, tomatoes, turnips, Swiss chard, lauki's (bottle gourd) , cucumbers, some ridge gourd and bitter melons & some sweet melons... how is your garden coming along?

I am really impressed by your garden and the efforts u r taking towards it.
I planning to start gardening and AnandChitra/Prabha are helping me.

Can you please let me know how much of space I need (ground space/balcony space for pots) for some kitchen plants like mint, coriander, curry leaves, chilli, tomato etc ?

Hi Suma,
It really depends upon what size of pots you buy there is no such thing like you need exact space for any plant. only thing if you have small pot some plants will not grow bigger as the roots won't have enough space to spread eg: curry plant but for the rest
you can grow any kind(size) of pots..hope this helps

glad to hear about your veggies.. Mine is growing very good too.. thanks to my husbands efforts.. he has done an incredible job and spends time on it.. I have posted some pictures of veggies and roses on one of the threads here.
