Dear Chithra madam,

I saw your vishukkani only now, I being busy with my own kani preparations.

If you won't think that I am overstepping limits, I would like to add that Konnappoo and a photo or statue of Srikrishna is a must in our vishukani.
And in our house, we usually keep all those fruits which are yellow in colour .
Other things are as you said.

Thank you for your thoughtful posting. I had a great Vishu. What all special items did you make for the Tamil new year? Hope you also had a great new beginning of the year.

Regards,

Abha.

Dear Abha,
Konnappoo was not available around.
In our family, we offer to any deity, not necessarily Krishna. That is Kerala culture.
We keep all available fruits & do not restrict to yellow ones.
You need not have any fear of overstepping - feel free with me !
All the best in the new year.
Love,
Chithra.
