 You made me recall my celebrations with my Mom! Dear Chitvish, Your Kanu vazhthu was great. My in-laws don't follow the tradition of Kanu, so we celebrate only Pongal since our marriage. But during my days with my Mom, both of us use to celebrate Kanu too. My Mom will keep Manjal-Kumkumam and we use to go to our terrace and offer kakka-pidi kannu-pidi for the crows and birds. Your vazhthu made me recall those Kanu days. Thank you. Regards, Malathy

| My dear Malathy ! All said & done - a stamp of approval from our "boss" ( that is how a co-ILite refers to you !), makes me extra happy ! Can't help mentioning it !! Just now I finished kanu pidi & kanu oil-bath. Need I tell you that I did pray for the ஒற்றுமை of our I L global family - that sometimes "goes & hides" somewhere !! Thankyou for your participation. | Dear chitra Wish you a very happy pongal and kanu.Your manjakirum kanu pattu is wonderful and recollect some lines from you.Nowadays all are out of the house this ritual is slowly diminishing. As I have eye soar and could not sent the f.B. in time. we are chanting the following lines at the time of submitting the kakkapidi.
