| "A characteristic flavor" My mom and I recently visited Mayavaram, Annan Kovil and Seerkhazhi for getting the divine blessings during an auspicious occasion. Yes, with “Garuda Sevai” just hitting the screens, our senses relished what our eyes captured!! It was me who enjoyed the most since I had stepped into the agricultural land after 19 long years . It was a trip that can never ever lose its fragrance. A trip that will smell fresh every time the memory lingers on. A trip that will reflect the pure and serene divinity that the land holds. We reached Annan Kovil by about 11.30 pm on 8th of this month. It was a very warm welcome that was extended by my paternal relatives, which my soul will treasure. After having a short “so called” dinner (time-skip hence I had to manage with just a few spoons of Upma and one idli), we refreshed to walk to Thiru-Nangur for the extravagantly celebrated Garuda Sevai. Typical village’s walk, where people looked upon us and started their questionnaire to my relatives about our “relativity” !! We reached our destination on foot and were enthralled by the crowd. Am a bit allergic to crowd and my mom just signaled me so as to maintain my temper in front of our relatives (my dear and caring mom!!)The dark blue sky sparkling with nature’s stars went colorful when the noisy but adorable crackers went on. The sky was bountifully decorated with the multi-colored tech-cracks!! The eleven Perumals (eleven Dhivyadesangalin Emperumangal) with the vibrant Azhwar (Thirumangaiaazhwar) were on their way with the mellifluous naadhaswarams. The elatedness that filled my veins raised Goosebumps when the eleven Perumals in Garuda Sevai with Shree Manavaalamaamunigal Shree Thirumangaiaazhwar hamsavaahana uthsavam started with a jerk in the “Thiruveedhi”. Herewith I take pleasure in declaring the sequence of the Perumals. 1. Shree Narayanaperumal (Manimaadakovil) 2. Shree Kudamaadu Koothar (Arimeyavinnagaram) 3. Shree Semponnarangar (Semponsei Kovil) 4. Shree Pallikonda Perumal (Thiruthettriyambalam) 5. Shree Annan Perumal (Thiruvellikulam) 6. Shree Purushothama Perumal (Vanpurudothamam) 7. Shree Varadharajan (Thirumanikkoodam) 8. Shree Vaikundanaathan (Vaikundhavinnagaram) 9. Shree Maadhava Perumal (Thiruthevanaarthogai) 10. Shree Paarthasarathy (Thirupaarthanpalli) 11. Shree Gopaalan (Thirukkaavalanpadi) 12. Shree Manavaalamaamunigal shree Thirumangaiyaazhwar in Mangalaasasanam The spark that went on in all the devotees’ heart cannot be expressed by words. But the experience that was gained is worth a million years of life in this planet. The sensual gratification that my eyes conveyed was understood by none other than my own “self”. Within me, I realized the transient longing for the unattainable. My divine desires were propelled with “propensity towards my Lord”. The purpose behind my creation was felt. On 9th we experienced the Thirumanjanam and Thiruppaavai saatrumurai. Mangalaasaasanam was carried on in the evening for the dhivyadesams: Thiruvellikulam, Thiruthevanaarthogai and Thiruvaali. Towards the night it was Mangalaasaasanam for Shree Thirumangaiyaazhwar. We enjoyed the customary pattern of thought as it was the time when Thirumangaiyaazhwar (Son-in-law of Annan Perumal) left the temple with his wife to his native I could sense my mom’s felicity as she graced the occasion with her well sketched Kolam in front of Annan Kovil when Thirumangaiyaazhwar had come!! The divine power with the refined grace can be evoked in us during such occasions. What say?? Wanna know about the secrets of my successful trip ???? Click on !!!!!!!! | "Unfortunately no takers to drop their pearl of feedback" !! ![]() Here with am attaching "Alamelu Mangai Thayar" who delighted our senses and mind with her perfection of divinity!! I really felt her grace on me when we came to know that it was a garland that was ordered for some other purpose (on that day), but the Battaachari's brother had used to add beauty to the "beauty queen" unknowingly. Distinction in beauty was conferred with her grace !!! ![]() ![]() Here you may relish your eyes with the "Muthangi Sevai" of Annan Perumal Uchavar. ![]() The next I would call an "eye catchy" talent !! Not merely because it was my mom's work, but truly because of the hard work that was put into it. After her Angapradharshanam (for the very first time that she had tried) my mom was totally exhausted and I could even now sense what made her to rejuvenate her senses !! The very word that Annan Perumal started his Thiruveedhi walk, made her to achieve what she wanted. Hats off to you ma ![]() and to your orientation towards Kolam, Rangoli and Mehandhi interests and talent!!![]() Regards RamyaVaradharajan

| My lovely Chithu ma'am, ![]() That was a title that I gave, not to merely get feedbacks, but at least then thought ILites would get the dharshan. Since I was told that it is just once in a year that we get to see the divine course getting at their peak in Annan Kovil, I did not want anyone to miss out on the "in-silico Dharshan" ("in-silico" is a word used in BioInformatics where instead of performing wet lab experiments, one performs experiments with softwares developed on-line viz using computers). Thank you so much for your kind words. In this fast and competitive world, we need to "run and run" to "stay where we are". Such being the case, we need to have the shower of almighty on us to keep ourselves "divine-fit" My mom will soon reply you personally (when do I allow her to sit before computer for her purpose?? ha ha ha )for that beautiful wish that you had sent all the way to "heaven" for us.Thank you once again RamyaVaradharajan

| Dear most Sindhuja ma'am, Thank you very much for having dropped in your "pearl" which I value the most. Ya, my mom's Rangoli cum Kolams makes my spirits rejuvenate. I will surely tell her to add her Kolam photos in a separate thread once she becomes active here (as I already said, I very rarely allow her to sit in front of computer![]() )Regards RamyaVaradharajan
