Dear Revathy, Nice to receive a F B from you, one year after I posted it ! Thankyou. Love, Chithra.

Dear Chitra, I read all about your Singapore trip. Great to know that you enjoyed there. Whenever any festival is nearing, I always look up your posts on the significance. Even though I might know them all, it is like a blessing to read them again before preparing for the festival. It gives me renewed enthusiasm too. Now Navaratri is nearing. I'm planning to keep a small golu for the first time. I want to do puja everyday. Like durga puja for first 3 days, Lakshmi puja for next 3 days and saraswati puja for last 3 days. I have the format given by you for Lakshmi puja. I just wanted to know if you can help me with Durga puja and saraswati puja. I understand you might be busy. In case you cannot give me a detailed format, please give me an outline and I'll get back to you if I have doubts. Thanking you for all your help, Best regards Hema

| Dear Chithra mam, Namasthe!! I saw the golu pics of your friend, which were posted by you. First , I should say that the whole environment, the lightings, the golu idols were just awesome. But, why is it that they've arranged the idols horizontally. Isn't it a tradition to arrange the golu idols in vertical steps? -Deepa.

Dear Hema, Yes, I have missed your query. You just have to chant Durga & Saraswathi ashtothra namavalis & the suitable dhyanams. The general format is the same. The above 2 may be available on the net. Love, Chithra.

Dear Chitra, Thank you for your reply. I just have a few questions: 1. Can we invoke the respective goddesses (Durga and Saraswati) in the Deepam like the Deepalakshmi puja or is it better to invoke in the respective pictures. 2. Can you just help me with the Dhyaanam slokas for Durga and Saraswati? I got the respective ashtothrams on the net. Thanks so much Hema
