Dear Chitra,

It was nice to read all about Deepavali. somehow, I don't see the festivity of olden times- talking about childhood. things have changed so much now.
As usual, i'm also ready to do a simple puja at home. just plucked some flowers & just wanted to go thru your shloka thread & I saw this beautiful photo of AnnaPurni & had to write to you.

Please do not say

The order of life is " pazayana kazithalum puthiyana pukuthalum" ! Now don't blame the T V _ I am waiting to see Surya-Jyotika's wedding in Vijay TV, Anbudan Hariharan in Jaya & ofcourse, not but not the least., Pattimandram in Madurai thamizh by Solomon Pappaya ! So let us happily accept the changes & enjoy them as well.

Dear Chitra,

You have beautifully explained the story of deepavali celebration. Enjoyed reading it and this year really we celebrated deepavali with full satisfaction. the previous day lit yama deepam and on deepavali night did the lakshmi, kubera pooja. Thank you.

The only remaining function is Karthigai, this year.
