i am scared.....

    hello friends!
    i am madhu a working women. i got one doubt.
    when i am preparing pooja on shivarathri, another photo has fell dowon on laxmi idol which was clay model which is a part of pooja room and head was broken. does it signs anythings negative. i am scared too much about that and i didn't shared this with my family also ... please help me with ur views..... hope positive reply.....

    Hi Madhu,

    Don't be scared. According to shastra it is called 'pragya apraadh'.. violation of any sadhana related rules. You have to take the broken idol and leave it in flowing water (like river etc) with flowers. Then do 'Vidivat punarsthapana' of a new idol and pray to forgive the pragya apraadh. And then you can resume the regular pooja/prayers.
