I had sent out invites to all my friends for my daughters birthday party 2 weeks ago, via whatsapp.
The invitation card itself said 'please rsvp'.
All friends immediately replied they would be coming.

Two friends, live in another city. One of them rsvp-ed immediately.
Other one said thanks. Then later in the day asked till when she needs to rsvp.
I said please rsvp atleast 3 days before the event. Now birthday celebration is in 2 days time and yet no communication as to if she and her husband would be coming or not.

She is a good friend, however I am finding this behavior rude. Should I ask her once again or just let it be ?

I do know thats shes not busy with anything on the day, the only hitch is the city is one hour away.

If she doesnt even bother to reply, should I even bother to invite her for future events ?

    Pickels,
Atleast she communicated back to you after getting the invite.
Maybe something has come up and she got busy to respond yes or no.

freind of ours replied no ( without any message)usually comes when invited. I called to ask and to invite by phone. Found out Their close uncle passed away and they were the only family member here and her h was doing all the samskaras and it happened to be on the same day.

If she is a good friend otherwise do not bother the quirks.

She replied you initially, so it's better to ask her once. Even then if she wouldn't respond then don't bother from here on wards.
Birthday wishes for your DD :)

Now whatsapp has evite kind of feature?

Ask her if you need a head count for food and other prep, or to take care of the possibility that it genuinely escaped her mind.

When I have such no response, couple of days before the event I send out an email with bcc's. Or, I send a general reminder about the event to all invited except those who said No.

i think evites usually send a reminder 2 days before. oh well, I would think she forgot or got too busy.
