wise words indeed.If only we could understand and act accordingly but then inspite of knowing these words we continue to do things as we want to... we don't cherish anything that we already have but run after things which we want and can't immediately acheive.When finally we do then after the initial euphoria we again forget them and find another thing to run after.The loss of somethings makes us realise their importance yet again we go and search for the unknown.we could be happy with what we have but we are always sad for what we haven't got! Its the human character of being unsatisfied and the attainment of more that keeps us going till finally we are no more....

Nice philosopy.
Even though we read so many times the verses get into our head only for the time we read or hear those verses. Once when we are away from it we arethe same as before. for this we had to put these verses into our thouhgts and act accordingly. For this we should follow the verses which says " A journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step".

Good post Cheer, it is true we ought to be content with what we have and not run after the things we dont have .Sometimes we are so engrossed in achieving the things which we dont have that we forget about things we have and when we realise it , it is too late.
